Container Pallet
A pallet specifically sized and designed to optimize space inside standard ISO shipping containers. Common container pallet sizes include 43x43 inches and 48x40 inches, depending on the container width and the loading pattern used. Container pallets must fit through the container door opening and maximize floor space utilization when loaded side by side. The specific arrangement of cases, boxes, or other unit loads on a pallet deck to maximize stability, space utilization, and shipping efficiency. Common patterns include column stacking, interlocking (brick-lay), and pinwheel arrangements. Pallet pattern optimization software calculates the best configuration based on product dimensions, pallet size, weight limits, and trailer dimensions. An efficient pallet pattern minimizes wasted space and reduces shipping costs.
